Our instructor, Steve Kenny, is a highly experienced and qualified Driving and Traffic Instructor (ADI) with a proven track record of helping students pass their driving tests with flying colours.

Automatic Driving Lessons

We offer automatic driving lessons in Southampton and surrounding areas, including Hedge End, Bitterne, and Locksheath. Our automatic driving lessons are designed to help you gain the skills and confidence you need to pass your driving test.

Student and NHS Discounts

We understand that students and NHS staff often have limited budgets. That's why we offer special discounts for students and NHS staff. With our automatic weekday 1 hour or 1.5 hour lesson rate, you can receive a discount of 2.50 per hour off our normal rate.

Block Booking Discounts

We also offer block booking discounts for students and NHS staff. For block bookings of 10 hours or more, you can receive a discount of up to 20% off our normal rate.

Intensive Courses

Our semi-intensive courses are designed to help you gain the skills and confidence you need to pass your driving test quickly. Our courses can be tailored to meet your individual needs, whether you're starting from scratch or looking to brush up on your skills before sitting your test.

Test Centres

As a professional driving school, we use only the official test centres in the area. Our test centre of choice is Maybush in Southampton, but we also occasionally use Lee-on-the-Solent Test Centre in Stubbington, Gosport.

Free Mock Practical Driving Tests

We believe that practice makes perfect. That's why we offer free mock practical driving tests to help you prepare for your actual test. Our instructor, Steve Kenny, will provide you with expert guidance and feedback to help you improve your driving skills.

At SMS Driving School, we take the safety and security of our students seriously. That's why all our instructors are CRB checked and thoroughly vetted to ensure your safety and well-being.
