Rainbow Driver Training

We are Rainbow Driver Training, a Salisbury-based driving school with 30 years of operational experience teaching pupils to pass their driving tests. Our first-time pass rate is consistently well above the 50% national average pass rate, a standard we have maintained for our entire 30-year history. We are fully compliant with all government requirements for driving instructors, having received a 49 out of 51 assessment score, equivalent to a 96% rating, from official regulatory checks. We are signatories to the Approved Driving Instructors Code of Practice and participate in ongoing Continuing Professional Development to uphold the highest professional standards. All of our driving lessons are delivered by qualified Diamond Advanced Instructors, with no trainee instructors used at any point in our tuition. We provide tuition in modern, air-conditioned dual-controlled vehicles to ensure a safe, comfortable learning environment for all pupils.

We are fully transparent about our performance, as the government does not publish individual driving school or instructor pass rates, and we openly share our track record with prospective pupils. We provide clear, up-to-date information about driving test changes, including the 2017 updates to independent driving, reversing manoeuvres and vehicle safety questions, to ensure pupils are fully prepared. We support pupils beyond their practical test, offering guidance on the Pass Plus course for those looking to build additional driving skills after passing.
