Flying Pig Driving School

Driving lessons with Flying Pig Driving School are designed to provide a structured and supportive learning experience. Our home driving instructor training offers personalized lessons tailored to meet your specific objectives and progress at your own pace. We use a VW Polo training car, voted What Car small car of the year 2019, for its quality, size, agility, and safety features. This ensures a comfortable and secure learning environment for drivers of all sizes.

Our instructor, Allen Thwaites, has over 30 years of driving experience, including time on European race tracks. This diverse experience has helped develop core techniques for meeting any driving challenges. Our goal is to produce drivers with the skills to drive safely and confidently for life, not just for a test. We believe in teaching observation, evaluation, and action skills to prepare for any situation on the road.

In addition to driving lessons, we offer support for theory and hazard perception tests, practical driving tests, and preparation for a lifetime of safe motoring. We also provide Pass Plus and Motorway skills training for new drivers and refresher courses for those who have not driven for a while. Our aim is to ensure that every driver has the skills and confidence to handle today's driving conditions.
