The Learning Curve

The Learning Curve has been providing driving lessons in Oxted for over 28 years, helping hundreds of new drivers to pass their theory and practical driving tests. Our driving school is located in the heart of Oxted, and our Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) Bob Hart has been training thousands of new drivers of mixed abilities and backgrounds. With our expertise and guidance, you can feel confident that you will pass your driving test and become a safe and responsible driver.

Our Driving Instructor

Bob Hart is a fully qualified and experienced driving instructor with a passion for teaching and ensuring his students succeed. He has lived in the area all his life, and knows the roads and highways of East Surrey and surrounding areas extremely well. With over a thousand driving test passes under his belt, Bob understands what examiners are looking for and can help you feel prepared and confident on the day of your test.

Our Vehicle

We use a top-of-the-range Vauxhall Corsa 1.4L (Petrol manual gearbox), which is air-conditioned and fully equipped with dual controls for your safety and comfort. Our vehicles are regularly maintained to ensure that you feel safe and comfortable during your driving lessons.

Our Lessons

Our driving lessons are tailored to your individual needs and goals. We understand that every student learns at their own pace, and we take the time to help you understand and master each skill before moving on to the next. Our lessons are of one full hour, and can be arranged Monday to Saturday for weeks or months in advance. If circumstances change, we are flexible and can rearrange lessons to suit you.

Cost and Payment Options

Our hourly driving lessons can be paid for at the time of the lesson, and we also offer a special deal where you can pay for ten lessons upfront and receive a discount. In addition to our driving lessons, we offer a booking service for your practical driving test, and a free hour-long lesson on the day of your test.
