5th Gear School Of Motoring

We are 5th Gear Driving School, a dedicated driving instruction provider operating in Bradford with a clear focus on delivering calm, structured learning for all pupil ability levels. Our team of qualified instructors holds extensive experience teaching both manual and automatic transmission vehicles to learners at every stage of their driving journey. We specialise in creating personalised lesson plans that adapt to each pupils unique pace, confidence level, and specific learning requirements. Our problem-solving capabilities mean we offer short-notice instructor cover and test car hire for pupils facing last-minute disruptions to their original arrangements. We maintain the highest professional standards, with all our test vehicles fully DVSA-compliant, dual-control, and fully insured for practical test use.

Our calm, consistent teaching approach eliminates unnecessary pressure, helping pupils build genuine, lasting driving competence rather than rote test preparation. We provide comprehensive support from the first lesson right through to test day, including mock tests, intensive crash courses, and Pass Plus post-test development. Our commitment to client satisfaction means we prioritise clear, transparent communication about progress at every stage of the learning process. We have a proven track record of supporting pupils ranging from complete beginners to returning learners needing to refresh their skills before testing. Our flexible lesson formats, including weekly standard lessons and fast-track intensive courses, ensure we can accommodate even the most varied availability schedules.
