David Underhill Driving Training

We have been providing professional driver training in Exeter since David qualified as a driving instructor in 2009 after leaving the rail industry. Our team comprises David Underhill, who has built a firm client base and receives consistent recommendations from pupils of all ages, and Andrew Underhill, a Government approved driving instructor. Andrew brings extensive local knowledge, having lived in and around Exeter his entire life, which enables him to tailor lessons to the specific road conditions of the EX1EX4 postcode areas. Prior to his instructor career, Andrew worked as a postman, giving him a practical understanding of daily traffic patterns and road user behaviour. We specialise in manual driving lessons, delivering a highquality, doorsteptodoorstep service designed to get learners driving independently as quickly as possible. In addition to standard tuition, we offer refresher driving courses for those seeking to update their skills or regain confidence behind the wheel.

Our instructors adhere to a strict instructor code of practice, ensuring every lesson meets recognised professional standards for safety and instructional quality. We maintain a calm and supportive atmosphere in the vehicle, with Andrews approach focussed on keeping learners relaxed while preserving the necessary level of instructional intensity. Andrews excellent sense of humour is used deliberately to ease nerves, yet he always balances this with clear, objective feedback to promote effective learning. Our commitment to client satisfaction is reflected in the high recommendation rate from our pupils and our prompt response to enquiries via telephone or email. We continuously strive to combine technical expertise, local insight and a personable approach to help each learner achieve their driving goals safely and confidently.
